• Interviewing at adidas Golf for a design position completely sick. I used a half of a box of tissue. (2005, 21)

• For whatever reason, Dan D and I were talking about ballads and got on the topic of how two people go to one mic and rock out. He proceeded to dramatize. (2006, 22)
• Moving into my 'student housing' in SF, walking through the hallways hearing gangster rap and smelling curry hoping the sound wasn't coming from my roommate. It was. (2002, 18)
• My roommate was a bible reading, awful rap listening, and bentley loving jamaican kid that wore only nike and wife beaters. We had to share a studio - I was tricked into it. Thanks Ai. (2002, 18)

• Frustrated at my move to Daily City, I called my friend Dan who was from the area; Pacifica. He told me to drive to the Taco Bell on the beach. It made the day. (2002, 18)

• Riding bikes with my cousin through the drive-in theater across the street from my grandmother's house. It's now a K-Mart, shitty. (1991, 7)
• The coffee shop in Portland, near Hawthorne, back in this neat neighborhood where Natasha and I got cider. She later decided to spill it on herself and blame me. (2006, 22)

• Halloween. Looking up at a kid in a clown mask as he tells me he's going to steal my candy, and thinking that he's joking until he actually does. (1995, 11)

• Listening to a cassette recording over the phone of my elementary school friend, Bodie, and I having a conversation; our voices were so squeeky. (2003, 19)

• When I was 12, I made up the fact that I knew Mccully Culkin and that he was going to be at my birthday party just to try and get some high school friends. (1996, 12)
• Marking the Wind 'n' Sea caves with Mary, and laughing at how much of a ridiculous perfectionist she was. (2005, 21)
• Walking up to my grandpa's casket at the viewing and realizing how much I was going to miss his silliness. The song In Your Wake by Matt Skiba destroys me to this day. (2005, 21)
